A not so common artform

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile... I had a really bad end to my summer and those who know me know how badly I want to go back home to Maryland. But I am teaching for one more semester here in MB...

Anyway, friends of mine and my family are down visiting and they woodcarve! Check out their website, especially the chipping section. Bev made me a beautiful cross, and while I am not over religious, I absolutely love her other crosses.

Also check out the caricature section. My favorite are the cowgirl and nurse - very fun.

I hope to have more of my artwork up on here soon. I finished a painting and am working on another. I have yet another in mind and am playing my hand at some photography with an older model camera. If anyone knows of any places back home (PA or MD) or even down here in MB where one can try to get their work shown, please let me know!
